Scarlet Envelope Returns with a Magical Two-Game Kickstarter

Scarlet Envelope Medieval Puzzle Tales

After five years of crafting story-driven mysteries, the creators at Scarlet Envelope are back with their most ambitious project yet. Medieval Puzzle Tales is a Kickstarter campaign featuring two epic tabletop puzzle adventures set in one delightfully peculiar kingdom.

At the heart of the campaign are two games:

  • Tale of a Silver Goat – A brand-new standalone adventure where players investigate the baffling disappearance of a herd of silvery goats. Armed with a full medieval map, branching paths, quirky characters, and a dash of magical nonsense, this tale offers a non-linear puzzle experience filled with logic, lore, and laugh-out-loud surprises.
  • Tale of a Golden Dragon: Deluxe Edition – A remastered version of Scarlet Envelope’s fan-favorite Game VII, which you can read our review for here. With upgraded puzzles, new 3D components, and expanded lore, it’s the same mystery you loved… only better.

“Our goal was to make a whole whimsical world you’ll love stepping into,”

say Anna and Lisa, creators.

“It’s a game, yes—but it’s also a chance to become the kind of hero who investigates with empathy, deciphers clues with curiosity, and solves mysteries with wit—not swords.”

Now on Kickstarter

The campaign is live until August 1, with shipping available worldwide.

Whether you’re new to Scarlet Envelope or a returning fan, this is the perfect time to join their growing community of puzzle lovers. Add-ons include all single envelopes and a full series, with great discounts. Every new backer brings them closer to upgrading production elements, and the team is transparent about their commitment to small-batch quality.
