If you’ve been following my progress with the @swamp_motel series, you’ll know that whilst this is the first game in the series, it’s the second one I’m playing! Yep, we (@shinylifeforme ) kinda-accidentally booked ourselves in for The Kindling Hour two weekends ago and whilst it worked fine as a standalone experience, the series makes a lot more sense now I’ve played Plymouth Point. Oops!
An Unforseen Delay is the second boxed game in the Star Wars Unlock! series, after Escape from Hoth and part two in my effort to find a play at home escape game my Player 2 loves as much as I do. This time round we’re playing ‘grey area’ smugglers, arrested and locked away by the bad guys (the Imperials – see, I’m learning). In all sense of the word, it’s a true escape room. You must escape!
I *LOVE* @district3escape 's remote avatar experiences, if that weren’t obvious from the fact I’m playing this just one week after Haunted. So much fun! For Something Brewing, I was invited to play alongside @borderlinepuzzler , @shinylifeforme , and the super cool Kelly from @mapleapron (if you’re in the UK go check out her Canadian cakes!)
Ever since I first heard about Tick Tock: A Tale for Two by @othertales , I’ve had it on my “To-Play” list. For me, the problem was finding a second player, but that’s where my good friend @borderlinepuzzler came in!
This week I found out about the ‘comedy’ escape room DTF *pause* which stands for Drag Task Force, not whatever else you might be thinking. Excited to give it a go, I invited a new team of three of my closest ‘IRL’ friends...
Week two in my Escape Game Olympics journey and this time we are…Down a couple of places, aww. But hey! There were 13 additional teams playing this week and I’m still super proud of our fantastic score of 34 minutes and 8 seconds! As with before, I played on the @escapingthecloset team with Alice, Ash and Tash and absolutely loving the competition.
